Mobility Carts for the Disabled Began by Dr. Graham
Mobility Worldwide-North Alabama, a group that makes mobility carts for the leg-disabled, got started in 2013 after First Baptist member and Managing Partner for IPS Dr. Jerry Graham stumbled upon the project while performing mission work in Central and South America. The group now operates with a few retired engineers, as well as non-engineers, building what Jones describes as “a sturdy vehicle that can almost go anywhere, an ingenious machine that resembles an over-sized tricycle that is powered by a bicycle-like chain drive operated by the hands.” For more information go to the article on AL.COM at http://www.al.com/opinion/index.ssf/2017/04/alabama_group_builds_mobility.html .
